This afternoon I used the word "batshittiest" in a comment to one of ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
thette's posts, because I thought it sounded better than "most batshit". Out of curiosity I tried to google some various forms and derivations:
batshitest: 0 hits (hardly surprising)
batshittest: 0 hits
batshittiest: 46 hits
batshitter: 147 hits
batshitosity: 1 hit
batshititude: 4 hits
I find it telling and slightly amusing that one of the first hits on "batshittiest" is a review of one of Ann Coulter's books. The only surprise, though is that "batshitter" is apparently mostly used as a disparaging term for young and unusually stupid goths, where I would have thought it meant "someone who is batshit" (or maybe "collector of bat guano"). You learn something new every day.
