Last Saturday while out shopping I saw that the old Cheburashka movies have been released on a Swedish DVD, so of course I had to buy it at once. Unfortunately (although I know I am asking way too much) it only has sound in Swedish and Finnish — no original Russian voices. Still, the important thing is that I have them at all...

COOOL! Were they ever popular in Sweden? Reciprocally, Karlsson is bigger than life in Russia. :) Or was. Pippi was also pretty popular. And even Mio min Mio.

Wh yis it so important for you to have the Russian voices? And are these the REAL cartoons with puppets ('cos the cover shows something else).

Drutten - is it Cheburashka???
