Apart from our IT administrator, they are by far the geekiest guys here and we get along just fine (and besides they have the only Macs in the company), so it's not surprising that I should find a CD from Bredbandsbolaget there. The cover has a picture of a sleeping young woman wearing a helmet with electrodes — an early experiment with hypnopaedia or EEG, I suppose. (John Foxx used the same photo in the booklet for Crash and Burn.) That was enough to catch my attention, and when I saw the title — Klassiska datorljud — I just had to ask to borrow it.
The CD has 49 tracks with a total playing time of 11:07, is apparently only sent out to Bredbandsbolaget's corporate customers, and has tracks like "Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh start sound" and "Joystick QuickShot (classic suction cup failure)". I'm going to burn a copy for myself. Yea, verily I tell ye: I'm in luuuuurv.
