I don't know if that regular cold I've been waiting for all winter is finally breaking out or if it is the coming of spring, but my eyes and throat are itching. One of the little bushes in the backyard that I see from my window is getting greener every day, at any rate.

It is a good and useful thing to know tuwr and my old cow-orker Johan. They react much more strongly to pollen than I do, and are therefore useful as miners' canaries (although their plumage and singing both leave something to be desired): when they start sneezing and rubbing their eyes, I know that it's time for me to buy medicines.
