Popped the second disc from Kraftwerk's Minimum-Maximum DVD into my desktop PC on Sunday night. First I took a series of screenshots of "Numbers" to create this icon, then I made a shot of "Music Non Stop" to illustrate the really ugly revisionist masking of Wolfgang's face from the computer graphics (which I'm not going to show you until I manage to make a screenshot of the original video, to show the difference).
Third, I listened a bit to the DTS 5.1 surround mix on the Zalman 5.1 headphones I have attached to the computer, as I had never heard it before. Unfortunately, the stereo mix is louder than the 5.1 mix. Much louder. I couldn't help but notice when I switched back to it. The ringing in my right ear didn't go away completely until the next afternoon; if it hadn't I would have gone to see a doctor. Seriously scary. I will need to check the settings of my sound card before I try those headphones the next time.
