Woke up this morning from a dream where a Human League song, probably from the Dare! era, played a large part. Now, even if the band members openly supported Labour, The Human League as a band always took care to avoid political themes, so I was a bit surprised to hear a song that so explicitly and un-ironically praised the welfare state. I don't remember it now, but it was a classic synthpop song that could have been a hit single. (Or so it seemed to me in my dream. My unconscious mind is either more creative or less critical than I am.)

And tonight I'm off to Mondo to see Laibach. Whee!
