awahlbom at 12:13am on 15/10/2005The other morning, I was brutally awoken at 6:15 by an awful racket from outside that sounded like some loony was operating a bloody piledriver.
Last night, the source of the mysterious sound proved to be a piledriver. I don't know exactly what they're building at the elementary school just outside my house, but I wish they would start a bit later in the day. Driving that kind of heavy construction machinery before 7 AM in a residential area is something that should be outlawed on pain of pain.
