11. Joss Whedon and Brett Mathews: Serenity: Those Left Behind (2006)
The mini-series, collected here in a trade paperback, that links the TV series and the movie and explains why Inarra and Shepherd Book left, what happened with the Hands of Blue and how the Operative entered the picture. I rather like it, but it's a bit short; I would have liked it to go into more depth.
