And for my next trick, I'll try to review every movie I see this year. Let's see how long I can keep it up, or if I have anything intelligent to say about them...

Under en diskussion om superhjältars engelska respektive svenska namn på seriefrämjarlistan tidigare i kväll (t.o.m. Stålmannen har börjat kallas Superman även i Sverige) kom jag att tänka på att det ju inte heter lapp längre, och sedan kom min onda hjärna fram till "Lädersamen och Robin". Sedan vågade jag inte tänka längre. Baaad brain, no biscuit for you!

[SUMMARY: Names of American superheroes are no longer translated. Stupid pun on Batman's traditional Swedish name. Be glad you don't speak the language.]

On the tube. The guy next to me just picked up an issue of Fluide Glacial from his backpack and is right now laughing at Édika. It's reassuring to see that some people still appreciate great literature.

[EDIT: I don't quite like the mood icon for "hot". It looks more like "infuriated" to me. What I meant was that I was actively sweating and wishing it was cooler.]

I'm right now translating this article into Swedish. Sometimes, a translator has to google for the strangest things: as Swedish has different words for the two, I had to find out whether May is Peter Parker's maternal or paternal aunt... There are times when I actually still like this job.
Music:: John Foxx & Louis Gordon: "Quiet City"
